HOLISDER project is a partner of the Energy Hack NL, which takes place from 25th to 27th of May in the city of Den Bosch in The Netherlands .

This event is a so-called Hackathon, were teams of software engineers design and develop an ICT system in a short timeframe, 48 hours in this case. During the Energy Hack NL, energy companies Enpuls and Enexis Netbeheer, in collaboration with TU Eindhoven, Microsoft, TNO, FAN and UtrechtInc, will give 80 hackers and innovators (including their own employees) a unique testing environment. Relevant datasets and APIs will be available to the teams, linked to the city of Eindhoven and the theme Smart Energy. TNO’s EF-Pi platform and the EFI communication standard are among the APIs and open source platforms used as a basis for smart energy applications and systems developed by the teams. Using these fundamentals, participating teams can go all out with their most innovative (data driven) applications for ‘the energy neutral city of the future’. Think of solving challenges such as flexible energy use, sustainable area development or sustainable mobility.
HOLISDER project, provides 20 hours technical support in the form of a technical expert support to the teams during the 48 hour development time. More information can be found on the event’s website (https://utrechtinc.nl/energyhacknl/?lang=en). Our project is one of the event’s partner among e.g. TU Delft, GitHub and EIT Climate-KIC.
The Energy Hack will has its finale on Sunday 27th of May, 1:00-5:00 pm, when the jury will elect the best solution developed.
