As the COVID-19 situation is evolving rapidly, HOLISDER 7th General Assembly (GA) was held in a form of a teleconference on 21-22 October 2020. During the first day the Consortium went through all work packages and associated activities and highlighted achieved goals and remaining tasks to be accomplished until March 2021. The second day was dedicated to technical session on pilots roll-out and demonstration.
The main purpose of this virtual GA was to carry out a formal review of project status including ongoing activities as well as the ones that were accomplished during the last 7 months. As the project is extended until March 2021 particular work package leaders presented relevant activities until the end of the project to achieve the assumed results.
At the end of the first day all participants took part in the workshop organized by TNO on the business case for the complex combo product as an illustrative example for completing the Business Innovation Models. Partners discussed about the potential customer segments targeted by the product, its financial projections, the value of residential flexibility within the product, its revenue, and the start-ups costs. Partners also analysed the market for the product launch.
On the second day of Holisder’s General Assembly technical sessions were organized to progress on diverse aspects (business planning, pilots validation scenarios). Partners had a chance to discuss about the status of each of the pilot sites. Brief overviews, suggestions for improvements, co-simulation scenarios and activities related to the predictive maintenance were presented. It was also highlighted that real-life problems and barriers that may have happened during the project should be analysed to extract lessons learnt and feed the final reports about HOLISDER replication roadmapping and policy&market reforms recommendations.
The outcome of the meeting was highly satisfactory. Diverse actions to be performed in the coming weeks were identified so stay tuned and follow us on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn channels to learn about our recent activities and latest results.
